David McNarry, UKIP Leader in NI, has issued a further statement on UKIP party policy on deportation, following this morning’s Nolan show.
“UKIP policy is that foreign prisoners, who are in receipt of custodial sentences, will be returned to their country of origin. This policy will benefit the UK taxpayer and is fair to all. It also reinstates UK Judicial control over the process.”
“This is basically a more detailed way of saying what I said earlier – that the deportation process would be subject to the courts.”
“I hope that leaves no ambiguity about UKIP policy and that people can see it is both fair and reasonable.”
