Crosby calls for white line action in Strangford

UKIP Strangford Assembly Candidate, Stephen Crosby has called for urgent white line action to prevent serious road accidents in the constituency.

Commenting, Stephen said:

“Travelling both coast roads on the Ards Peninsula recently, I was alarmed that numerous stretches of the A2 and A20 roads had poor or no white line visibility with the adjacent coastal walls or grass verges.

Unfortunately this is commonplace and I would appeal to people to contact TransportNI directly on 028 90540540.”

“Frequent concerns and issues raised with me recently are the number of potholes, excessive surface water, insufficient boundary road demarcation, and inadequate street lighting.”

Mr. Crosby added:

“Let us ensure that we become proactive, please don’t leave it until there is a serious accident or loss of life before we take action. This is an urgent matter, especially in a constituency with a large rural catchment area. Don’t delay, call today before it is too late.”
