McNarry calls for Northern Ireland’s part of Cobra’s response to Paris attacks to be spelt out

David McNarry MLA, UKIP Leader in Northern Ireland, commenting on the Paris terrorist attacks has said :
“I call on Justice Minister Ford to give assurances that he is in contact with the Cabinet Emergency Committee, Cobra, and that Northern Ireland is fully a part of the decisions being taken to protect the UK, especially Belfast and our large towns from IS terrorist attack.”

Mr McNarry continued:

“Given the existence of the IRA and especially dissident republican groups, we cannot be excluded from the counter-terrorism measures being taken by Cobra. People need to know what links, if any, exist between irish terror groups and IS and what specific thereat there is to Northern Ireland.”
