UKIP North Antrim Representative and Ballymena Councillor, Donna Anderson has warned parents to be aware this evening following a possible abduction attempt on Queen Street, Ballymena at just after 7PM.
Commenting, Councillor Anderson said:
“Parents be aware. There was a possible abduction attempt tonight on Queen Street just after 7pm. I am just off the phone with the mother. The children are safe but are understandably traumatised. PSNI are now on the scene and the car registration was noted. A good description of the car and the man involved have been given and CCTV camera evidence will hopefully have been captured.
Cllr Anderson added:
“I know this family personally and I am truly horrified that this kind of thing has happened practically on my own doorstep. I will be calling with the family tomorrow. I am just thankful that the children are safe and well this evening.”
