Cllr Anderson responds to Ballymena B&Q closure

UKIP Representative for North Antrim, Councillor Donna Anderson has echoed the comments of her UKIP Colleagues Cllr David Jones and Brian Higginson regarding the unfortunate news that B&Q is to close five stores here in Northern Ireland, affecting up to 300 jobs.

Commenting on the Ballymena store closure, Cllr Anderson said:

This is another heavy blow to Ballymena and the thoughts of both myself and UKIP are with the employees and their families, who are the ones that will undoubtedly feel the full impact of this unwelcome news.

Alongside my UKIP colleague on Mid and East Antrim Council,  Cllr Noel Jordan, I will work tirelessly to play my part in attracting more investment opportunities to a part of the world that has been hit badly in recent times.
